I swear I’m not a scatterbrained person.
I do my schoolwork, I clean my room when I’m told, I go to work and do my job– but for some inexplicable reason I seem to have forgotten to publish my last post.
It was all typed up, looking lovely (if I do say so myself) with it’s pretty pictures and it’s paragraphs upon paragraphs of witty commentary (again, if I do say so myself), and I swear I remember clicking PUBLISH, but, clearly, I didn’t. I would like to give a shout-out to you beautiful people who gave The Marvels: Brian Selznick a big ol’ like, despite it’s sad lack of content. You simply made my day when I saw that.
I do plan on remedying this predicament eventually, but I don’t have time tonight to type both that post over again as well as this one for the first time, so I am sorry to say that you folks out there will be forced to wait in agony for a little while longer in order to finally be privy to those inspiring words.
Oh, I know, I know. The suspense is killing me, too.
On a happier not– or at least a less embarrassing one– I was thinking earlier today how full of wonderful things March and April seem to be for me, and I was so encouraged that I decided to list them here. Because I know you all are just dying to hear.
Eden’s List of Wonderful Things: March and April Edition
- As some of you might know, Beauty and the Beast, the live action Disney remake starring Emma Watson– yeah, you heard me right. Emma freaking Watson, guys. Hermione— is coming out March 17th, just two days from now, and I am more excited than is probably decent for a girl who is almost 16. But Beauty and the Beast– probably my favorite fairy tale ever, creepy and twisted though it is. I even wrote a retelling of it– and Emma. Watson. Needless to say, I fully plan on going to see it Friday, and enjoying every minute.
- Drum roll please… Endings release date has finally been announced! K.M. Shea posted on her own blog that it’ll be available for pre-order sometime this weekend and it comes out officially March 23rd. March 23rd cannot come fast enough. I have been waiting for a whole year for this book, and I have very high expectations– that I know will be fulfilled.
- I take dance lessons, and my company is performing the Adventures of Pinocchio, in which I dance en pointe as the White Bird. We open March 31st, and I’m equal parts nervous and excited.
- April 17th is the reslease for a book by an author that I love; Blackfoot, by W.R. Gingell! Her writing style is as close to perfect as I can envision, and I await Blackfoot with baited breath!
So that’s what’s going on with me! Anything exciting happening to you Lovelies?
